Machina, an alternate world where gear is the advanced and top technology. Gear technology can be find in whole aspect of human life. Human who made gear called Gear Master. There's a Gear Tournament which all Gear Master around the world compete to get the title of number one.
The story begins along with a man named Reynard Bata (protagonist) who start his life on Gear Master Academy. His dream is want to be a number one Gear Master in this world.
TYPE OF GEAR
There's 2 type of gear. it is Manual Gear and Auto Gear. Manual Gear need a trigger to activate it. Auto Gear always active and never be off.
GEAR TOURNAMENT
There's 4 type of gear tournament. Battle Gear Tournament, Beauty Gear Tournament, Sport Gear Tournament, and Assist Gear Tournament. All 4 type have function same as their name. Battle GT (Gear Tournament) for Gear Master who seeks strength, Beauty GT for one who seeks beauty, Sport GT for one who seeks fair play, and last Assist GT for one who like help others.
AUTOMATON
Automaton - Automatic Mechanism is a geared machine which has a heart and can move freely. There's 3 type of Automaton. Humanoid Automaton, Organic Automaton, and Geometry Automaton. Humanoid type has a part or proportion of human up to complete human form with human voice and human heart. Organic type has a part or proportion of animal or plant up to 100% form like animal or plant. Geometry type has a form of simple geometry up to complicated form of geometry.
Humanoid type has a flexible use and can participate in 4 Gear Tournament, can be a friend of its master and can follow its master everywhere. But its maintenance cost is very expensive, spare part is difficult to find so the price is so high, its body has a complicated engine structure so it's so hard to repair.
Organic type has a natural weapon body part depend of its form of animal/ plant, a fighter which has a natural reflex. But it just can participate in Battle GT and Beauty GT.
Geometry type has many type of weapon and tools, has a strongest defend than others type of automaton, and the spare part is cheapest too, even so easy for customization. But it just can participate in Battle GT and Assist GT.
TITLE OF NUMBER 1 IN MACHINA
Gear master has his/ her point in each Gear Tournamnet, So title of number 1 divided in 4 branch of Gear Tournament. Throughout history, there's no one has a title of number 1 in all 4 branch. Gear Master usually focus on 1 or 2 branch of Gear Tournament, but mostly just focus on 1 branch. The popular branch is Battle Gear Tournament.
Everytime Gear Master participate and win a tournament, his/ her point will be increased automatically and stored in server of World Gear Master Associaton. So all Gear Master can see their point and rank on real time.
There's an illegal tournament which not earned any point and has a brutal rules. Gear master who participate in illegal tournament will get a consequence which is arrested in jail or pay a big fine up to retracting of Registered Gear Master Identification. Things why Gear Master participate in illegal tournament is the price of winner. The price can be a super rare spare parts or bunch of forbidden information.
Points aren't earned just from Gear Tournament. Gear Master who help others is earned points too. For examples, help a merchant lift his/ her goods will earn Assist Points, fight a bad people will earn Battle Points, be a sport instructor will earn Sport Points, or be an idol will earn Beauty Points. There's many ways to get a points without participate a tournament, but points earned from tournament can be very big depend on the opponent. If can defeat a high rank opponent, Gear Master can rank up very fast.
GEARSHIFT: DEUS MODE
Gearshift: Deus Mode is the advanced form of automaton which raise all of its status and aspect (like strength, agility, dexterity, and processing of decision). The change which can be seen is addition of armament and accessory.
Gearshift: Deus Mode has a time limit. The time limit depend on level of automaton. A normal Gearshift: Deus Mode can be use in 1 x 24 hours. If automaton be forced to use it many time, it can damaged for an automaton up to fatal error which can cause a permanent breakdown to power source or engine core of automaton. So use it wisely.
